What is it that intrigues a guy so much that he wants to marry a Russian woman? What is it that attracts him to Russian women in the first place?
These are questions that have been going through my mind for years. There are so many things written about Russian and eastern European women on the internet. There are thousands of web sites devoted to dating and finding the perfect woman for you.
But why is this such a thriving business? Are these women something out of the ordinary or are they just from another country, nothing else? Why would a man fly half way around the world to meet a woman? Is it the beauty of a woman, the sex? Why? Would it not be easier, cheaper to just date and find a woman local to him? Women come in all shapes, sizes, personalities and looks in all places in the world. Could you not find the perfect woman right here in your own back yard?
Russian Women - What's the big deal?
Heck, I did it, but not really sure why. I don’t regret my decision by any means. I love my wife. But the question still remains – why was I intrigued in the first place? I was divorced for 2 years, not really even dating yet. I was making a lot of positive changes in my life at the time. But why did I go to Russia and meet this special woman? It was like I was drawn to go, I guess. I am not really sure. And I ask the same things to other men married to Russian women. But no-one has a clear cut answer, not one of them.
Why all the questions? Not sure. Just something I have thought about many times over the years. I guess every guy has his reasons for looking for a Russian woman to marry, but no-one seems to have a clear cut answer. Maybe they were just intrigued, as I was…

My husband says he lived in a small village, was very busy with work and did not have time for dating. So, he heard about Russian women and decided that this is something he could do. This is not the reason for me:) When he tells me that I laugh. Bla bla bla…
