Happy New Year – 2009

We’ve brought in another new year, and this one came in with a big bang. We threw a party at our house yesterday. We’re both paying for it today. A little too much vodka, beer, wine and champagne mixed together. Russians sure can party. We socialized, played charades, sung karaoke and drank. Unfortunately, I found myself praying to the porcelain god and disappeared from the party before it was over. Being a bad host is never good. Lena had to host alone for the last bit of the party. But nevertheless, the party was a hit. Lots of good food, liquor, music, socializing. What more can you ask for?
