In loving memory of Valentin Artimov
My Father-in-law passed away Thursday morning. We had his funeral today and I gave the eulogy for him. Unfortunately, he had only been in the USA for a month. But he was able to spend his final month with his daughter and granddaughter. I think this was his driving force to getting to the USA and I am happy that he was able to fulfill his final dream of living here in the USA with his children.
He was a loving man and a pretty funny guy. We will miss him a lot, but I know he has been suffering for quite some time with numerous health problems to include cancer. I am sure he is in a far better place and wish him well on this new journey. Maybe someday, I will meet up with him again and we can sit down and drink a bottle of vodka. Until then, I bid you farewell until next time pop.
