The wife is off to Russia this week. Her parents have been evicted from Russia for being capitalists. The KGB came to their house and gave them 30 days notice to get out of the country or be thrown into the gulag…

Ekaterinburg

Ok, maybe not, but they are coming to the USA to live. They have sold everything and are moving here next week. But it must be a little un-nerving for them to move to another country, don’t you think? Life will be good for them though. They will be in America and be close to their daughter and granddaughter. Their house will be about a 5 minute drive from us, so it should be good.

Ekaterinburg

Prices have skyrocketed everywhere in Russia (I talked a bit about this when I went to Moscow in October). Do to this, they have gotten an excellent price for their apartment in Ekaterinburg. So they should be fine here moneywise.

We have spent the last 3 weeks getting their house ready for them. I had it rented out and it was left a mess. But it is looking pretty good at this point with only a few things left for me to accomplish while Lena is in Russia this week. We’ve managed to furnish most of it and it will be enough to get them started.

Guess this means a reason for a party!
