Ah yes, you’ve been wondering when I’ll hit on actually dating a Russian woman. Well, here is the first of many articles to come.

Once you marry a Russian woman, you meet your wife’s Russian friends and their husbands. The first question you always ask is “How did you meet your wife?”

This can open a very large can of worms or it can be as simple as when I met my wife. There are many ways to meet a Russian woman. Honestly, I don’t think any one way is better than the other. I would say that I have my preferences, but others may have their own ways and ideas.

So there are a few different ways to do this. I’d like to point out to those of you that are thinking about this for the first time that you may want to experiment with the different ways. Those of you who may have tried and failed may want to consider trying something different.

What I did in the beginning was to look at all of the Russian dating agencies that were in the internet. There are many of them and they all work a little different. Really, I didn’t pay attention to the differences much until I saw at least one woman that interested me on a particular site. So, I always looked at the pricing and how they charged to see a woman’s complete profile or to get her email address and phone number before moving forward. In most cases, this way is the safest and easiest way to find your future Russian wife. Something that many agencies offer are guided tours with a guarantee that you’ll have hundreds of women available to meet. They typically will arrange several get-togethers in whatever city (or cities) they work with and have translators available as needed. Then when you and the other men arrive, it’s time to get down to the business of meeting Russian women. If you find someone you’re interested in, they will arrange everything so you can really see if you are interested. No, they don’t arrange sex. These are legitimate agencies that setup these tours. Don’t think you’re going to get some just because you are going (although I am not ruling it out). Just like in the USA, you are going to meet a lot of different women with different personalities, different looks, different attitudes, etc. You’ll probably find someone that you like and she will like you too. These trips are very pricey, but they usually take care of everything. If you worry a lot about going to a foreign country, then this is what I would suggest. If you just want everything to be taken care of for you, then this is good also. You should get a lot of bang for your buck (so to speak).

A Russian Wife Tour

Being on a smaller budget, a tour was not favorable to me. I decided to set out on my own and find the right woman for me.

Initially, I wrote to 6 or 7 women from typical dating sites (there are a lot of foreign women on them). I sent a generic email to all of them. Got a couple emails back within a week or so. I wrote back to them and received nothing in return. So, I spent a few days looking at more profiles and photos. I picked 3 women to write to that I thought I might get a response back from.

Well, the very next day I received a response from one of them. I replied to her and we started corresponding. Her name was Lena and she could speak, read and write English. A couple days later I received another email from another of the 3 women I picked. I also replied to her. She didn’t respond back to me again for almost a month. By that time, I was corresponding daily with Lena. Most Russian woman don’t have their own computers and it is difficult for them correspond. They rely rather heavily on internet café’s and friends with computers. If they have no computer and poor English writing skills, they typically go to Russian dating agencies.
